Quick Question
I am considering splitting my blog into two blogs. One of these would be mostly humorous, while the other would be political in nature (it would also contain humor, but of a political nature). Before I do that, I would like to know what you think. Please tell me.

i like having everything together. it makes things interesting... but it is ultimatly up to you.
that's a good question, because i also considered changing my blog.
i would say leave it as it is. i don't read blogs in order to be entertained-- for that, i could just go to crazythoughts.com ;) blogs are an opportunity, as i see it, to see a little bit of what people are really like and what they really think. i'm reading this because you wrote it, not because it is funny or political or whatever.
I personally think you should leave it all together...but it's your blog, so it really doesn't matter what everyone else says. If we all told you to make a blog with a focus on delirious monkeys, would you do it?

i agree with the above comments. I read your blog because you wrote it, to better understand who you are.
If u do split I would think u should try using that Xanga site. Because then I'd know when you updated...I don't check here every day.

My personal opinion is that you should leave it as is.
1. It will be harder to maintain. With two blogs you will have to do twice as much work and spend twice as much time, and what's wrong with how you've been doing it? It has worked thus far.
2. It will make it difficult and slightly annoying for the avid readers of your blog because we then have to click twice as much. This is modern America and we, as citizens feel that life should be convieniant. Now, I can tell by your personality, that you like things slow and greatly dislike where America is headed. Therefore you may change your blog for that very reason.
3. Just read the other comments. You're going to have a mob after you. Not one said to change it. Protect yourself and leave it as is.
4. Like the other comments state, many of your readers read your blog because you express yourself through your writing. Granted, I do read for entertainment but strictly because what you type is entertaining, even the serious stuff, because I think opinions are fun. Anyway, my point is, this blog strongly resembles who you are, it's your personality, if you will. Don't split your personality up. Life generally doesn't end happily for people who do that.
Well, there it is, my opinion. A little winded, but I hope I got it across to you. Sadly, it's your decision, I pray you make the right one.
